Dental United Group is a growing Australian dental equipment service provider, delivering sales, servicing, preventative maintenance, installations and breakdown support to dental practices across Australia.
As our Melbourne operations continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Dental Field Service Technician to join our Victorian team.
We’re looking for someone who already knows dental equipment, is confident diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs, and has experience working across a broad range of equipment and brands.
The Opportunity
Working across Melbourne and regional Victoria, you’ll provide servicing, repairs, preventative maintenance and installations for a diverse range of dental practices.
You’ll have the autonomy to manage your workload, solve problems in the field and build strong relationships with customers, while being backed by an experienced technical and support team.
Your role will include:
- Diagnosing, servicing and repairing a broad range of dental equipment
- Completing preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs
- Working on dental treatment centres and chairs
- Servicing autoclaves and washer-disinfectors
- Working with compressors and suction systems
- Servicing X-ray equipment and associated devices
- Installing and commissioning new dental equipment
- Completing service reports and compliance documentation accurately and promptly
- Managing vehicle stock, tools and parts
- Providing knowledgeable and professional advice to customers
- Working independently while collaborating with our wider technical and support teams
About You
We’re specifically looking for an experienced dental equipment technician who is confident working independently and can take ownership of jobs from diagnosis through to completion.
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Dental Field Service Technician
- Hands-on experience servicing and repairing a comprehensive range of dental equipment
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Sound electrical, electronic and mechanical knowledge
- Experience servicing autoclaves and washer-disinfectors
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A professional and reliable approach
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
